Charleston

Jeff and I went to Charleston for a few days last week. It was really our first getaway since the girls were born. We've been wanting to go for several years, and when Southwest got a nonstop flight, we decided to go. We were gone a little over two days, the longest I've been away from my girlies, and it was enough. They did great with us gone although Mom said they were getting pretty clingy by the end. I highly recommend visiting...we had a great time, and we were able to eat lunch the last day in Charleston and be back in Nashville by 3 that afternoon! There was great shopping, fabulous food, and the weather was perfect!

Never seen a tree with two different color blooms

One of the window boxes. They were so pretty and Jeff wondered why he can't ever get ours to look anything like it.

The church steeple Jeff was fascinated with (St. Philips) ...it was huge

glad y'all had fun!! everyone needs a little time away. I'm such a homebody and have never really been away from my kids either. when I had Walker, I sent Will home with my sister in AL and missed him so much, I had my dad bring him back after a few days. Madison kept telling me on Thursday that mommy and daddy were "goin on a twip on a pwane" It was so cute! macey loved the monkeynastix and suprisingly, madison would have nothing to do with it. I think the man scared her a little and it was just the fear of the unknown. claire was really scared too. macey LOVED jumping on the trampoline and I took pictures of her on the bars. she was so brave and proud of herself. i think I tagged you on FB.
