2 1/2!!!

My baby girls turned 2 1/2 yesterday! I wanted to write down a few things they are doing now that they might not be doing by the time they turn three so I can look back and remember.

I like how this one shows how TINY Macey's face was when she was born compared to the paci

(Madison, Macey)

Madison, Macey

Madison Leigh Hunter at birth...6lbs 3oz

Madison Leigh Hunter at 2 1/2...about 27 pounds. This picture was my Mother's Day gift from their Preschool
Madison is my inquisitive child. She asks me maybe 1,000 questions a day. She has to know who I'm talking to, what I said to Sissy, what I said to anyone, and what everything is. She is very articulate. She is getting to be a little bit better of a helper when it's clean-up time. She has turned into my daredevil. She has switched from the outgoing one in public to the extremely shy one. She is particular about what she wears, always wants her nails painted, loves to put lip gloss and jewelry on. She loves that she has long hair...she mentions it often. Loves to swing. Wants to do everything by herself unless it's to look for something...then she won't even try. She is protective and takes care of Macey..she has a tender-heart. She is a much better sleeper than Macey. She is still very stubborn...has been from birth. She doesn't have any real attachments anymore...doesn't need her Pooh anymore.

Macey Katherine Hunter...all 4 pounds 12 ounces of her

Macey Katherine Hunter at 2 1/2...about 26 pounds

Macey is still my feisty little girl. She was constantly kicking and moving inside me and hasn't stopped moving since. She is NEVER still. She is my little bull in a china shop...if you are snuggling in bed with her there is always a chance of accidently getting kicked or headbutted by the Mace...she's rough. She's also extremely tender-hearted and gentle with babies. If Jeff looks at her wrong...she loses it. She's always been a terrible sleeper. She loves to smile and her laugh is contagious. She is happy-go lucky. She is a very hard worker. She loves to swing. She has gone from extremely shy in public to my outgoing and smile at anyone kid. She would eat nonstop all day long if I let her. Piglet is still her little buddy; she carries him around everywhere. She is my little shadow...never gets too far from me or for very long.

They have been out of diapers except for sleeping for about a month now. Big thanks to their preshcool teachers who basically trained Macey for me. Diapers.com has lost a good customer:), the savings in our wallet has been nice! Both girls have always been clingy to me...Macey is still extremely clingy to me--she would want me to hold her all day long if I would. They are both very protective of me...don't like it when I talk to or help another kid. They say, "No, that's my Mommy!"--can be a bit embarrassing. They still let me get their kisses...not sure how much longer they'll let me. They still wake up between 4:30-6:30 am (Macey is usually 5:00am on the dot, Madison later) to get a drink then go back to sleep in bed with Jeff and me. Jeff still leaves for work with me and the girls still asleep in our bed (my arm around each one or they get upset). We still wake up and snuggle and play for about 20 minutes before we finally get out of bed--my favorite part of the day..I know they won't want to snuggle much longer. They get along well for the most part, but they fight like sisters and get on each other's nerves. They want personal space when they're playing something by themselves. They LOVE to sing. They sing or talk all day long.

Madison at their Mother's Day party at school drinking her water....she only drinks milk and water

Macey at the party...she on the other hand drank her Capri Sun in about 20 seconds...loves her some juice!
