Sparklers and Swinging

Uncle D has a fireworks tent this year, so we got some Sparklers. This was the girls' first sparkler experience...they loved it, but wondered why it didn't last longer :)

Macey learned to pump on the swing this week! Made my week :) The first night she did it, she wouldn't stop. She was on the swing pumping her heart out for around 40 minutes...she finally stopped when I told her it was dinnertime! Madison is trying to learn..she gets a little frustrated when she can't stay going high but she'll get it soon I'm sure.

Father's Day

Father's Day Weekend was very busy, but lots of fun celebrating with all the family.

We went to Third Coast Clay a few weeks before Father's Day to work on Jeff's present.

Sam had just gotten back from a week at the beach, and is so much more comfortable in the water now...too comfortable. He'll just jump in if you're ready or not.

Swim Lessons

We had swim lessons the past week and a half. They were pros this year, so no Mommy and me class this time which I think worked better for everyone. I think it also helped having our friend, Burton in class with us again this year to help motivate all three to do what the teacher was telling them to do. They picked up right where they left off, and they also began learning to come up for air, dive off the side, and some backstrokes. They jumped off the diving board and swam the length of the pool with the teachers helping them come up for air twice. Madison tolerated the whole week, Macey absolutely LOVED every second of it, and Burton was all smiles after a few days too. I know I enjoyed having a friend to talk to and watch the kiddos with too...Ashley, we enjoyed hanging out with you and your boys all week. You have such a sweet sweet family!
