Williamson County Fair

We went to the Williamson County fair Saturday night. The girls loved it. They loved the farming and the petting zoo, but unfortunately they didn't get to ride any rides. While we were still with the animals a huge thunderstorm popped up. So we had to wait for it to let up which was about half an hour at least. Since all the rides were shut down and would be soaking wet when they reopened we decided to go ahead and leave.

Macey ready to go farming

Madison ready to go farming

Feeding the chickens

Daddy helping Macey feed the chickens

Picking apples off the tree--they were a little confused at first as you can see she's trying to put her egg in the tree

Madison following sister's lead with the egg

Getting the apple. This was about the only thing Madison did--she was a little overwhelmed and just watched everything

Brushing the sheep--Macey loved and did everything

That was as close as Madison got--brush in hand, but never made it to the sheep

In the tractor

Macey loved all the fake animals standing around

They both planted their corn

They loved looking at all the baby pigs

Macey, Madison and Daddy in the petting zoo part. Macey went up to all the animals to pet--Madison hovered by Daddy as you can see

Jeff had just asked Madison if she wanted to pet the goat--this was her response--she is just like her Mommy in that respect--doesn't like to get too close to animals

Jeff trying to make her pet the goat---didn't happen

Jessie's Shower

Jessie had one more shower before little Sam arrives. Natalie, Audra, Kiki, and Elizabeth hosted a fabulous brunch. The food

Macey going down slide

Enjoying a yogurt popsicle

They kept looking at each other saying "Ho Ho" with their white beards--they always call Jeff "Ho Ho" when he is shaving

Macey Katherine

Macey Katherine at 21 months: Is BUSY. She is nonstop motion from the time she gets up until she goes to bed. She still loves to snuggle with me every morning. She loves to laugh--has a good sense of humor and her laugh is infectious. She loves her Piglet. She is starting to talk more. She can talk in 2-3 word sentences. She loves her Sissy. If you ask her a question she always responds with "Sissy?" to make sure Sissy will be doing/getting it too. She could care less what you dress her in. She hates having shoes on. She runs everywhere she goes. She loves to help--especially when her Daddy is trying to fix something or work on anything outside. She plows ahead and gets started on things. She plays well by herself just reading books or playing with her animals. Loves talking on the phone and electronics. She LOVES animals, and will pet anything she can. She is still a big time Mommy's girl.

Madison Leigh

Thought I would do an individual update since I haven't in forever so here are some 21 month stats: Madison Leigh at 21 months: She loves to talk. She is talking in 3-4 word sentences moving her hands constantly, and talks to me nonstop all day. She must have your eye contact when she is talking to you. She loves to talk on a phone. She only has her passy at naptime and bedtime for about a month now. She's been sleeping in a big girl bed for 3 weeks. She loves to give kisses and hugs and loves her "Sis". She is very outgoing at home, but gets shy in public. She is a homebody. She LOVES shoes and if you tell her we're going shopping, she asks "shop for shoes?" She usually has an opinion on what she wants to wear. She gets frustrated if she can't figure something out quickly. She also still likes to snuggle with me in the morning, but if given a choice, would prefer to snuggle with her Daddy. She sits back and studies her surroundings more than sister. She requires more attention at home than sister.
