Christmas Eve

We spent most of Christmas Eve day and evening at Jeff's parents celebrating Christmas with them. We started off with breakfast with Papa, Bebe, the Tanners, Pap, Gigi, and Philip. Then we baked Christmas cookies, everyone went home for naps, then back over to Papa and Bebe's for supper and presents.

Snow! at Opryland

Jeff didn't work last Thurs so we took the girls to Snow! out at Opryland. It was fun, but they don't last too long in the cold. We may try the Ice exhibit next year.

Garth Brooks Concert

I went last minute to Garth's final flood concert last Wednesday night with Beth and Kate. It was awesome...he is such a great entertainer and it's fun to know and sing along to every song. It was also nice to feel like I was back in high school again for a few hours. I paid for it the next few days since it was the 9pm show and we got home around 12:45, but it was so worth it. Thanks Kate and Beth for getting the tickets and making me go!!! We need to do it again soon!

Gearing up for Christmas

It's been COLD ever since we got back from Disney World, so we haven't been up to much. Macey had some problems breathing so she had to do breathing treatments for a week, then they both got the stomach bug...they didn't get it very badly though. They had their Christmas program at school, and now we're officially ready for Christmas!!!! Macey doing her "fishy face" She was very good about doing it and only complained a few times.

Macey refused to put her mittens on to go play in the first snow of the season. She got her snow suit, coat, boots, toboggin, but refused the mittens...so here she is looking out the window watching Daddy and Sissy play in the snow

Madison had a blast in the snow though...she and Daddy walked down to see Uncle D, Jess, and Baby Sam in the snow too.

This is where Macey asks me to put her phones when she is playing with them...I guess since she doesn't have pockets in most of her pants:)

We've been doing a lot of dressing up since we've been playing at home a lot with the cold and sickness going around

Their Christmas program at school...Macey does not look happy, but she didn't cry and they stayed up there the entire time...I consider it a success...thanks Miss Ashley for whatever you were whispering in her ear during the program...it worked!
