Outing with Cousins

My cousin Kristen came in from Texas and we were able to meet her for breakfast one morning. It was so good to see her & her little boy, Caden. After that outing we were able to stop by and see Jeff at work.

Happy Easter!

The girls had an eventful Easter weekend. Uncle D & Aunt Jessie took the girls & their cousin Tori to Opryland Hotel Thursday night to visit with Uncle D's family who were in town for the Lads to Leaders convention. I couldn't believe they wanted to take them all, but everyone did great and I even think they'd be willing to try it again! We had a visit from Kate Long who we're always excited to see when she's in town, and we had Easter at my parents' house yesterday & we all watched Tori hunt eggs--not too long before she'll have some competition. Madison & Macey did great at church yesterday--they made it through service & class without fussing at all--that's a first. ( I think it was their Easter present to me). Sorry about a few of the pictures, couldn't figure out how to flip them around.

High School Reunion--Class of '99

Below is an e-mail from Michelle (Tyree) Reis that she wanted me to post in case anyone from our high school class actually reads my blog that she does not have an e-mail for. If you could please send her your contact information so you will receive the details when they are finalized--I'm excited about it & look forward to seeing everyone!

Hi Everyone! As you probably remember, this is the year for our 10 year high school reunion. I know some of you are in denial, you know that it means you are approaching the big 30, but it is a right of passage and I will try and make it as painless as possible. : ) For others of you, you have been waiting for 10 years to see old friends and reminisce about your glory days...they'll be plenty of time for that. Whoever you are, just come without expectations and you won't be disappointed! The exact date hasn't been set yet, but we are shooting for a weekend in August. I'll give you more details soon, I just wanted to get everyone's contact info. I know that there are only a few names on the email list, and by the looks of it they are probably old. So, if you could help me by forwarding this email to anyone that you know that graduated with us.Also, please respond to this email (mrsmichellereis@gmail.com) with your current email address, mailing address and phone number so I can update our contact sheet. Oh, if you have gotten married and changed your last name, please include your maiden name as well.Ok, so I hope that everyone is doing well.See you all in a few months!Michelle (Tyree) Reis

Disclaimer

Obviously I'm not used to getting around on the blog site yet. I noticed I put my title of "several new posts" on the first post so that it didn't show up at the top. My mother was also kind enough to point out all my spelling errors & mistakes I had made, but I don't have time to spell check it when I have at least one baby in my lap trying to help me type or I'm racing against the clock of the short 30 minute naps my girls like to take! So, sorry for all the mistakes, but hopefully I'll get better. I thought I might should put too that Macey rolled over this morning to her belly--exactly a week after Madison--didn't want to leave her new accomplishment out!

5 Months

The girls turned 5 months yesterday. We actually all got to go to church for the first time in about 5 weeks since the girls couldn't seem to shake the RSV cough. They love rolling/spinning on the floor with each other and always know exactly where I am. I have 2 pairs of eyes watching my every move all day. Madison can roll over to her stomach--her first time was about a week ago & does it constantly now. Macey talks nonstop & could roll over if she wanted. She gets 3/4 of the way there & rocks back the other way which she is content to do. They are very ticklish & they love to giggle which is so cute to hear. Macey thinks everything is hilarious & is always smiling or laughing. The dresses they have on in the pictures below were mine when I was a baby.

Disney World Cont...

We stay in Fort Wilderness every year & get in pretty of relaxing in. The girls didn't take long to pick up on the Disney life.

Disney World!

We finally made it to Disney World several days after we had intended to. Both girs came down with RSV which gave them ear infections so we had to postpone the trip a little while. Thankfully though the girls were happy the whole time they were sick. They were a little more clingy, but that's about it. We flew down & Taylor Brownlee was nice enough to hold Madison on the plane ride down--I owe him big for helping us with our first flight experience. The worst part was trying to figure out how to open the stroller after the security check & the flight--it took about 5 people each time--embarrassing! The girls did great on the flight & we only made one stop on the drive home with my sister & parents. The 2 1/2 days was not enough time for us, but hopefully we'll be able to go for longer next time. The pictures on not in the order I want, I'm still getting used to posting.
