Preschool Easter Party

You may get tired of all the easter egg hunt posts that I put up so my maybe two readers out there (one being my mom) may want to skip these. But since I'm not the crafty one in the family with scrapbooking or anything like that, the blog is how I keep up with our girls' lives and then get it printed yearly (so they can have them one day), which I've been very pleased with. Anyways...the girls had their easter egg hunt and party at school today. Madison was sick so she didn't get to go. She was not happy about missing school. She kept telling me last night to just give her medicine and then she would be all better in the morning and could go to school. They both love to go which is such a blessing compared to the beginning of the year for Macey. Macey kept telling me at the party that she wasn't ready to go home yet.

Macey came strong out of the gate...straight for me which was a shocker

Her new face when I ask her to smile for the picture....lovely.

She loves her a Capri-Sun since she doesn't ever get them at home.

Her new smile once again

The icing on the cookie was obviously her favorite part.

Sick Days

We're taking turns being sick this week. It started off with me Monday morning so Mom took the girls to her house. She was going to take them to school Tuesday morning until Macey spit up. Macey and myself were feeling good by Wednesday, and I thought Madison had stayed strong until Wednesday night she came down with fever. She isn't acting sick this morning, so hopefully she slept most of it off--hopefully Jeff will be the Lone Ranger and stay well.

Daddy and Madison having dinner together on the deck while Mommy and Macey were sick. I had the screen door closed so I could hear them--not sure Madison stopped talking the entire dinner. She was really enjoying some one-on-one time with Daddy. She was sick 24 hours later.

Wednesday night working on their big puzzle with Daddy. I know you're shocked it's Disney Princesses

The other day they randomely said a memory verse from school in the car, so I wanted to get it on video. They've also been working on their New Testament song so I got that too--they do pretty well by themselves, but still need a little help to get all the books in there.

Sunday School Easter Egg Hunt

We had our Sunday School Easter egg hunt last weekend. The girls were ready this year and knew what to do. They had a blast even though it was a bit cold.

Trying to get a good picture of the girls

Baby Sam Comes to Play

A big perk to having a sister live just down the street, we can have a playday any day!

I may Never March in the Infantry

This is one of the songs they were supposed to sing in their Spring Program. "I May Never March in the Infantry...Cowboy Style. Please ignore the disaster of a playroom in the background.

My two "Little Miss Prisses"

Up to now, only one of my girls has been the prissy one, and the other could care less. That is starting to change...I think I may end up with two little prissy girls. I don't know what to do with them since I was the total opposite of prissy.

My second Miss Priss. She has been wanting to wear these Minnie shoes nonstop lately.

My original Miss Priss...she has wanted to be all dolled up ever since she knew to be. Wherever we go she is always accessorized

Preschool Spring Program

Tori during her songs. I couldn't get the picture to move--blogger was too slow so I gave up.

The girls had their Spring Program at Preschool last week. There was still not much participation, but no quivering lips this time--that is an improvement from the Christmas Program. Madison did do some hand motions, but not any singing. Macey didn't do anything but stand and stare. Their music teacher said Macey goes all out in practice and rehearsal which I believe since they sing and dance nonstop at home. Maybe next year they'll be more used to an audience.
