The Hunter Family

We've had a big few weeks of birthdays! We went to Maggiano's to celebrate Uncle D and me turning the big 3-0. Our birthdays are about a week apart so we usually have a double celebration. Then it was on to Madison and Macey turning 2!!!! I can't believe my baby girls are two already. The time has flown by and I cherish every minute I spend with them. I can't imagine my life without them and can't wait to see what the next year brings for them--watching them grow and develop from babies to little girls.

Madison Leigh at 1 year

Madison Leigh at 2 years

She is 36 inches long and weighs 25.4 pounds. I can't believe how much her hair has grown. She is definately my girlie girl. She loves jewelry, shoes, and clothes already. She likes to dress up and accessorize. I think she'll be telling me what to wear soon:) She loves any kind of sweets. She can spell her name correctly most of the time. She can almost count to 20--she just skips a few numbers. She knows hers and sissy's whole name. She talks NONSTOP and wants eye contact although she is extremely shy in public right now. She will repeat it until you say it back and acknowledge her. She loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Dora, and the Backyardigans. She loves to sing and do all the hand motions. She has been completely off of her paci for two weeks now and doesn't ask for it all anymore. She loves to snuggle. She takes care of her Sissy and has a tender heart.

She is 35.5 inches long and weighs 24.6 pounds. She is nonstop motion from the time she wakes up until the time she goes to bed. She loves to snuggle and go back to sleep with me first thing in the morning (from about 5:00 am to 7-8 am)--my arm has to be under her and she gets as close as she possibly can--I love it--even though it's early I try to remember that soon she won't want to snuggle me at all. You always know exactly what is running through her head--her facial expressions say it all. She loves to love on her Sissy. She makes sure Sissy gets a snack or milk whenever she does. She loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Dora, and Backyardigans although they can never agree on what episode to watch (I think they just like to contradict each other or really frustrate me:) She has really become a good talker the past few months. She can count to about 13 and is getting close to spelling her name. She could do it if she would sit still and concentrate long enough to work with me on it. She loves to work with her Daddy in the yard and to play with anything technical. She is a little ball of muscle with the most core strength I've every seen. She has a very tender heart.

We had a big Halloween week. It took the girls a little while to warm up to the Trunk or Treat thing, but once they got it, they didn't mind so much.
